OUR PROJECTS

Past Projects

The first project that gave us the idea to start thevillageproject was developed together with KPLK in Indonesia. It aimed to support the local community in establishing an ecotourism model that could create alternative income opportunities, reduce dependence on foreign funding, and limit the economic pressure to expand crop production or cut down forests.

Current/Planned Projects

We are currently developing a project in the Aral Sea region of Uzbekistan.

Communities in the area have faced prolonged drought and severe environmental degradation for nearly a decade, with significant social and economic consequences.

Our goal is to connect local communities with the knowledge, training, and equipment they need to strengthen their livelihoods and build long-term resilience.

To support this effort, we are currently working toward a partnership with the Embassy of the Republic of Korea in Tashkent.
